Your work stays yours.
We built Screenzo to help you make clear product demos without sending your recordings to a server by default. This page explains what information is handled when you use the website, purchase Premium Packs, or connect an optional service.

1. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Screenzo handles information when you visit this website, join the waitlist, purchase Screenzo Premium Packs, or use features that connect the app to an online service.
2. Information we receive
Depending on how you use Screenzo, we may receive:
- Waitlist information: your email address and the page or feature that led you to join.
- Purchase information: checkout and payment details processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- License information: the email associated with a purchase, license status, activation records, and device activation identifiers needed to manage a license.
- Support information: anything you choose to send us when asking for help.
- Google Drive information: only after you connect Google Drive. Screenzo requests access to the files and actions required for its Drive publishing and collaboration features.
3. Recordings stay on your device
Screenzo is designed to process screen recordings, cursor data, webcam video, microphone audio, overlays, and exported videos locally on your device. We do not upload your recordings to Screenzo just because you record or edit them. If you choose to publish an export to Google Drive, the selected file is sent to Google through your connected Google account.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- send waitlist and product-availability updates you requested;
- process purchases, deliver license keys, and validate activations;
- provide premium pack access and protect the service from abuse;
- operate, maintain, and improve the website and app; and
- respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Services we use
Screenzo relies on carefully selected service providers to operate parts of the product. These may include MongoDB for application records, Dodo Payments for checkout and license delivery, Cloudinary for catalog asset delivery, and Google for optional Drive features. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services, subject to their own privacy policies.
6. Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described here, including providing support, maintaining purchase and license records, preventing fraud, and meeting legal requirements. We use access controls, encrypted connections, server-side secrets, and other reasonable safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
You can stop receiving waitlist updates by contacting us or using an unsubscribe option included in a message. You can disconnect Google Drive from Screenzo at any time; you can also revoke Screenzo access from your Google Account. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to applicable law and reasonable verification.
8. Children
Screenzo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Screenzo changes. When we do, we will update the date below and publish the revised version on this page.
